Juvéderm Injectable Treatments – What to Expect
Using a very tiny needle, Dr. Kaplan will inject the specific areas needing treatment.  Using either Juvéderm Ultra or Juvéderm Ultra Plus depending upon your situation, the smooth gel is injected into the specified sites.  It flows easily and consistently under the skin so you will experience mild discomfort.  Avoiding aspirin and ibuprofen will help to minimize bruising.  Bruising and swelling at the injection site rarely occurs, but when it does, it is minimal and it resolves within hours or a few days.
