What is Fat Grafting?
While injectable fillers are temporary, fat transfer can offer longer lasting results.
Hollowness between the upper eyelids and brows and in the cheeks, nasolabial folds, mid-face sagging, thinning lips with lines around the mouth, and a jawline that has lost its definition – all these unwanted problems can be addressed with fat grafting. When this procedure is done correctly by a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon like Dr. Kaplan, the results can be excellent. Fat grafting, using your own body fat, can restore a fresh, youthfulness to the face that can endure for years. Using his safe, reliable technique, Dr.Kaplan will harvest fat from your abdomen, inner thighs or hips and then (after it is treated) will inject it into the areas of concern. Because of the most advanced and reliable technique he uses, a significant number of these fat cells will survive and graft to fill in the areas of treatment.
