While the results of injectable fillers are temporary, VeraFil is a soft tissue augmentation implant that is a permanent, yet reversible, solution
VeraFil Augmentation Facial Implant is an innovative, permanent, reversible tissue augmentation implant. The thin biopolymeric dual-membrane with adjustable saline filling offers the advantages of an injectable filler with the long-term benefits of an implant. VeraFil Augmentation is a soft tissue augmentation procedure that is minimally invasive and produces immediate results with minimal recovery time. It is performed in-office in our AAAHC certified office operating room under local anesthesia, using intra-oral nerve block. The VeraFil Augmentation Facial Implants are placed through very small (3-4mm) incisions at each corner of the lip. Once the implant is positioned, saline can be added through a tube allowing for adjustable augmentation during the procedure. The tube is removed once implantation is complete.
Dr. Kaplan generally performs the VeraFil Augmentation Facial Implant Procedure under local anesthesia, using an intra-oral nerve block. All surgery is performed on an out-patient basis in our state-of-the-art AAAHC certified operating room suite, complete with all of the required monitoring, anesthesia delivery and emergency equipment. Dr. Kaplan makes every effort to ensure your complete safety and comfort during surgery. Anesthesia will be discussed during your pre-operative appointment.
